Cherik Meme

Finally decided to fill this out.

1. I can't remmeber when exactly I noticed the bromance, but film-wise, anyway, I think this was the beginning of it. The look in their eyes, in Charles' tone....<333

2. Even before I started shipping Cherik, their relatnship always fascinated me. Two men who are both mortal foes and best friends; who'd fight one another to an end that never led to death by the other's hand....it's beautiful. In all the films, and the TV shows I've seen as well. But in X3....after Xavier died...watching Magneto felt...different. You could see the weighted sadness and then as he changed throughout the rest of the film..especially that one line spoken in Charles' defense against Pyro...it's so beautiful and tragic.

3. The main reason I ship Cherik is because of all the emotional possibilities for their relationship; both seen in the movies, and beyond. Given that both men themselves are very complex (And at time secretive) individuals, and piling that on homosexuality in the sixties...so many things can go wrong or right, depending on the situation.

Although I DO like to play with Charles' reaction should he ever find out...
As for Moira, while she and Charles' love IS actually comic canon, because the scenes that would've helped evolve their romance were deleted, it makes it hard to see them as a couple as well. So I g

5. Dark, evil and sadistic Erik Lehnsherr and Emma Frost make a wonderfully naughty, sexy and devious pair. It might seem out of the blue but because of the back-story I've woven in this alternate universe (that I SWEAR I WILL write), I find they work quite well.
Program!Charles and User!Moira...for some reason, setting XMFC in the TRON world makes their relationship more appealing. I don't know why. Maybe because Erik and Charles are but comrades and not romantically involved...maybe it's because I actually kill off Charles...I don't know.

6. Come on: We ALL wish it were true.


7. With the exception of the first time I saw it (and I've seen this film five times), I CONTINUE to scream at Erik in my head as I watch it : KISS HIM KISS HIM KISS HIM DAMMIT KISS HIM. But of course, that will sadly never happen.

8. I know EVERYONE says chess = sex with them but honestly, that's starting to bore me. because it's overdone. For me, I think Chess is a way to teeter around things the two would rather not discuss, or maybe have trouble playing out loud or heck, maybe it's just a sophisticated way to talk dirty.

9. I WISH. Of course, after said confession I envision the following to unfold like a role-play I did with back in the summer...because it's SO f and depressing and I love breaking Charles..


10. Sorry. Can't happen. They COULD adopt but...half the fun I ship them is because they're MEN. Two very different yet not so different men with goals and ideals that happen to fall in love with each other. They've no interest in starting a family or children; they've been through so much, all they need is one another and that alone is difficult because of the societal and sometimes personal issues involved with loving your best friend, who happens to be the same gender as you. Charles is not a "mommy." I MAY feminize him from time to that's only because I tend to shatter his emotional confidence because I'm a horrible person. Also I love to prey upon his insecurities and naivette.
