Experimental TLK family tree

Another family tree.

This one is kind of an experiment, as it's illustrating theories I'm only toying with in my head.

I've also included my TLK III characters in it.

Now, before ANYONE critiques/flames me, please read the following explanation.

1) I'm really starting to like the idea of Kula and Chumvi being Scar's cubs; True, many people have them as either the children of rogues, or Mufasa, but I like to think of them as siblings. And as they both have dark fur, it could, theoretically, make sense for Scar to be their father. A lot of the lionesses in the pride have brown eyes, and many of them also don't have their toes colored.

If, in fact, they WERE both Scar's cubs, then it makes it all the more logical for one of them to be Kovu's parent. I think, out of both of them, that Kula is Kovu's real mother, and a rogue is his father. This way, Kula already carries the green-eyed gene, even if she herself has brown eyes. this could also work for Chumvi, but I don't think so: Scar would probably want an heir that wasn't either a let down (Nuka) or sympathetic to King Mufasa (Chumvi). Therefore, upon his deathbed, he tells his most loyal lioness (Zira) that his daughter's next cub is to be his heir. Zira does not forget this, but she waits until some time has passed: Babu is Kula's first born, and raised to follow King Simba. However....after Kopa is killed, Kula and Babu move out to her brother's pride, where Zira, after having been exiled, stumbles upon Kula and her new son, Kovu. I hate to think Zira killed Kula, but she probably did, or forced her to give him up.


2) Tojo as Vitani's father. With Kovu having different parents, it is now 100% possible for Tojo to be Vitani's father. She looks like an outlander version of him.

3) Leo as Nala's father. I actually didn't come up with this--I found someone else on the TLKFAA who did, but I really like this idea. Leo (who appears in 6NA) looks much older than Simba, and his pale fur, reddish nose makes him an ideal candidate to be Nala's father.

4) I still think Ni could be Mheetu's father--if Nala thought the young rogue was attractive, I'm sure Sarafina would too!

5) Boga and Afua as siblings. It could work.

6) No, Vitani does NOT marry Kopa. He dies, and she's too young.

7) Mufasa COULD be Tama and Tojo's father, but I didn't have any room, and I'm still debating that myself.

No, I haven't forgotten about the whole "Vitani=SimbaxNala cub" but it doesn't work (in my mind anyway) in the actual canon world.
